
David G. Kennedy is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He graduated high school from the Alabama School of Mathematics and Sciences receiving magna cum laude honors. While in high school, David participated in the Youth Leadership Mobile program.
David G. Kennedy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on political theory and a minor in English from the University of Alabama. While at Alabama, David co-founded an undergraduate mock trial team. He remained on the Dean's List throughout his undergraduate career and graduated with honors. Thereafter, David received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While at Cumberland, David received the Scholar of Merit Award in Civil Procedure, and he was consistently on the Dean's List. He also spent most of his time clerking at several Birmingham and Mobile law firms while in law school.
Mr. Kennedy is actively involved in the Mobile community. When he isn't working with his law practice, Mr. Kennedy enjoys volunteer work and is a member of a variety of civic organizations. Recently, Mr. Kennedy has began serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science.
